Just had to share these with my readers. My darling Son, R who is 18 months old had his first introduction to finger paints this morning.
Lessons I have learnt:
1. Buy coverall bib/overall type outfit for him – entire outfit is in the wash now covered in blue and yellow paint (I couldn’t find the red paint!)
2. Cover everything in 10 foot radius – table, chairs, counter on way to bathroom to wash hands, all covered in paint.
3. Put Dog out – She is now sporting blue fur and a yellow nose after jumping up to see what was going on, getting a big paint covered hug from R and then decided to taste the plate of paints while I was washing R’s hands!!
Nevertheless it was great fun, he got the hang of hand into paint onto paper v. quickly and was so proud of himself
